Wednesday April 22, 2026. For ages eight plus. Please register for one session: Session 1: 3:30 PM, Session 2: 4:30 PM, Session 3: 5:30 PM. 

A walkable Playable museum at your library! Players will be able to learn about how Nintendo started and see how the iconic console evolved to where it is today. All Nintendo systems from NES to Switch are available to play throughout the exhibit, players will have the chance to play all the OG Nintendo games on Switch emulators. 

This Program is funded by a grant from the Auburn Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by MASS Cultural Council, A state agency. Mass Cultural Council Logo.

The Auburn Public Library Presents... Galaxy-On-The-Go! Friday April 24, 2026. Please register for one session: Session 1: 10:00 am [Ages four plus], Session 2: 11:00 am [Ages eight plus], Session 3: 12:00 pm [Ages eight plus]. Location: Pakachoag Community Center 203 Pakachoag St, Auburn, MA 01501. 

The Springfield Museums will be bringing their portable (inflatable) planetarium to Auburn! A museum employee will discuss the stars, constellations, and planets that are visible in Massachusetts in April. There will also be a display with constellation artworkand the connections between mythology and the seasons will be discussed.

Hollywood and the courtroom: The anatomy of a trial. 
Join the honorable Judge Dennis J Curran for a lecture on courtroom trials!
We'll explore the power of storytelling and the impact of film to embody an inhabit the law and its relationship to  ideas about injustice, liberty, citizenry, race, justice, crime, punishment, and social order.
We will watch a dozen courtroom scenes from famous movies and discover why they are so powerful, and what they tach us about the trial process.

Our tech time series will introduce participants in three sessions to the basics of computer navigation, setting up an email inbox, and conducting internet searches on google. We'll learn together in an open, supportive environment.

Fourth and Fifth Grade Book Club. Join us for our monthly children's book club for 4th & 5th graders! 
Kids will pick up the assigned book ahead of time and read it before we meet. 
We will discuss the book, select next month's book, and then complete a craft!
Register for the program then pick up a copy of the title at the main desk library starting 4/20/2026.
