Informational Meeting

August 19th and 21st   6:00 pm

English Conversation Class

The Auburn Library will host a free English Conversation Class from that gives beginning English speakers an opportunity to learn and practice new words.

Tom Lukas' SpyCar Tour

August 7   6:00 pm

As part of his Spycar tour, Author Tom Lukas will be doing a talk about his book Special Operations, written in memory of his brother, fallen Auburn Police officer Stephen Lukas.

Join us for this special presentation which will include sales of the book and a book signing as well as Off Duty: a photo exhibit about Officer Lukas in the Library's foyer. 

Classic Movie Afternoon

Looking to spend a little time out of the house?  Maybe get together with some friends to enjoy an old familiar movie favorite?  Then visit us at the library for our classic movie Monday.  Please contact the library for the movie we are showing.

Color Scape with Lou Pingitore

September 25   7:00 pm 

Innovative abstract expressionist photographer, Louis Henri Pingitore, will be presenting his work along with musical guests Dennis Sullivan (Vibraphones) Penpa Tsering (Flute) and Obrogaio (Keyboards) followed by a short film featuring Pingitore's work with original music composed by Josh Hummel.  

Prints will be available for sale during the evening with a portion of the funds going to benefit the Friends of the Library.

Evening Book Discussion Group

There is no meeting of the book club in July and August.

The next meeting will be on Thursday, September 11th at 6:30 pm.

No title has been selected yet. Members will be notified when the book is selected and available to pick up in mid-August.

 New members are always welcome.  Please notify staff if you are interested in joining the Evening Book Club.
